Kate and I have just driven a white Mustang convertible across the desert to Santa Monica....the very cool beach suburb LAX. Its here where Jennifer sips her latte after yoga class and right in the middle of it all live Kates good friends Zan and Jamie. Zan is a real hippy chick who teaches yoga classes and Jamie a guitar playing Scriptwriter in the movies. They live in a palm tree lined street that goes down to the beach. Kate met Zan on the Underground in London and they have been bf ever since. Their sofabed is our home for the next few days. What great hosts. We eat at the local restaurants, Jamie arranges a game of tennis for us and we cycle up The Esplanade to Venice Beach.

Love this place.
