Life in the UK Test. Hammersmith. LONDON.
Monday, August 24, 2009 at 09:00AM
Today after about a dozen hours of study i attend the iranian center in Hammersmith to sit my Life in the UK Test. Anyone applying for British Citizenship needs to pass this test before submitting the £720 and the most complicated form that i have ever seen. I sit at the computer booth as do 12 other people. We have 45 minutes to answer questions about the British population and Parliament and law and order. Some of the questions i have to guess the answers but am happy that i have been able to pass. With my Certificate of Competency in hand i head home. I lived in NZ for 23 years. Now outside NZ for 23 years and in london for 18 !!! Those little red Passports seem to be getting harder and harder to get.
Will have one soon ....
