Becca and Jonny Wed in the Gherkin

Today Kate and I are invited to celebrate the marriage of Becca and Jonny. Becca works close to the Gherkin and being a real urban couple they have chosen one of London's coolest landmarks as their venue. What a beautiful bride. What a lovely couple. We all enjoy the ceremony and party on through til tomorrow.       xxx

Tonight Kate has her leaving doo in Shoreditch. Her City team and some of the Fulham and Harley Street Physios see her off in style.

Netball

No matter what anyone tells you believe me when I say that Mixed Netball is a pretty awesome game. When I worked at Six Physio, Sarah Kneller put together a team to play in The Square Mile Midweek League. What fun.               The first season we lost most of the matches but things have changed. Six Physio Mixed Netball team is 3rd in the Comp. I sprained my ankle pretty badly blocking a shot 3 months ago and haven't played since. Kate has remained on the team and tonight i got a call up to fill a gap in the goal defence position. I am the star replacement. My fitness has dropped a level or two since last season but am always there with high effort to make up for the lack of technique. We lose. A close game though. They do better without me.

But i so do love the game.

British Citizenship Forms and a new Stereo

Today i go to the Wandsworth Town Hall to submit my forms to The Border Agency. The Local Council verify the forms and my Passport information and I pay them £60 so then I can keep my passport while the process takes place. Am a bit freaked out when I am told that the process may take 4 to 6 months. The Town Hall is just around the corner from Sextons Car Stereo Centre. I bought a Jeep 4x4 a couple of months ago. It was a bargin and only 56 000 miles on the clock for a 2001 thats pretty good.....and Diesel too. They have fixed the front Tweeter and put a Hands Free System in place for the iphone.

Boom boom boom.         Dont need any more base.                Thats for sure.

Bestival 2009

My first Music Festival in 15 years. The joys of having a 31 year old girlfriend extend to revisiting dance music. With Bjorn Again, Soulwax, Seasick Steve and Jazzie B in the line up I was sure of an eclectic mix of music. Camping with Lucy and Ashman 009 as well as the girls I knew we would have a laugh....and we did. Ferry to the Isle of White. Bus to the site and away we go....................................
